MIchael Mayo 70.123.110.235 mayomc7@live.com New owner of the MPS+ Just purchased a MPS+ at an estate sale about two weeks ago. I went into the gararge at the estate sale and noticed the keyboard but it did not have the ac adapter with it and the people did not know if it worked. The unit was clean so I took a chance and got them to come down from $65.00 to $40.00 and walked out with it. I ordered the ac adapter after finding out where to get one from Emu's web site. It arrived two days ago and I plug it up nervously. The sound I found to be awesome and inspiring like the comment I read at this resource center. Counting the price of the ac adapter I spent about $100.00!!!!! The best deal I have ever got on a musical instrument. And am glad this website is here !!!! I have had some ups and downs with different servers over the years that have really had an impact. There used to be a larger crowd but the forum would go down for months at a time and most people never came back. I don't think that's going to be a problem ever again though as I have a better understanding of how to get things going again... And I keep regular back-ups. That is a great deal! I bought mine for $1000 new and was happy with the price. I certainly have never regretted it. I layer it with a Triton Pro now and it really fills out the sound. -Kevin MIchael Mayo 70.123.110.235 mayomc7@live.com Re: New owner of the MPS+ Could you explain what you mean by layering it with your Triton? Would that be using the triton as the master and just the sounds from the MPS layered with some of the Tritons sounds mixed in? I am mostly a guitar player but can get around on the keys pretty well but am not sure what you meant by layering it. Thanks,Mike........ Kevin Saturna 74.60.31.86 saturna@efn.org Re: New owner of the MPS+ I just have the Triton's MIDI out plugged into the MPS+ midi in. When I play the Triton it triggers the MPS as well. Unfortunately no matter what I do (including turning off the receiving of patch/bank changes on the MPS and turning off patch/bank sends on the Triton) I still have the problem of the MPS resetting to its default patch every single time I switch patches on the Triton. I cannot find a solution and it's making it unusable for live situations.
